Sistra | Lemon Tart by dilip
Lemon Tart by Dilip is one of those songs which borrow elements from various genres. Whereas the verses feel slow and remind me of RnB, the chorus has a nice rock tone on the guitar. I love how the vocals were consistent but at the same time malleable enough to fit both these styles.

How did you get started in music?
I was 5 years old when my parents enrolled me in Indian classical singing lessons. I’m so grateful because it was the start of falling in love with music as a kid — I also listened to a ton of 90s and 00s R&B, played in an alt-rock band with my friends, and made Soundcloud beats in Fruity Loops.
